Recently I have updated and renewed my contract with TalkTalk which meant I could get their latest router which is the Huawei HG633. Before hand I had no problems streaming Netflix, Spotify and doing background downloads simultaneously on my PC. However since I have the new router if I upload a document or download something I can't do any other internet related stuff. New tabs won't even load Google. The specs of the router are suppose to be better than my old TalkTalk router which means better processor and a faster router to supply more data to and from devices however its not. If there is a solution behind this apart from getting another router of a better please let me know as soon as possible or if you could suggest a better router within the price range of £60 - £80 I would appreciate it.

My Package:
75mbps down
19mbps Up
Line Type: VDSL 2

I use a high quality Cat6 Ethernet cable from router directly to my PC and have checked my speeds which are: 73mbps and 19mbps solid and I have the latest firmware available.

Solution
Not necessarily the router - could be some physical connection problem.

Check both the telephone wall jack and the splitter (aka filter) serving the Huawei. Splitter/filters are often problematic.

And the RJ-11 telephone cables as well. Most are very flimsy and it does not take much to damage them.

Also check the Huewei User Manual. See if there are any onboard logs or diagnostics that can be run.
