I want to upgrade my Dell Inspiron MDL. 3847 computer memory to it's max memory which is 16 MB. The manual calls for memory chips with these spec's: 8GB - DDR3 UDIMM 1600MHz NON-ECC I want to know if a CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop chip set is compatible with my needs.

No, it's not compatible because dell did a dirty trick and use UDIMM's so normal ram with DIMM isn't compatable so you need to buy upgrades from dell.
