Okay so I'm getting an AMD AM4 socket mobo for the new ryzen and newegg has lots of combo deals, but I'm not familiar with motherboard brands.

All the above plus MSI. I've had at least one of each and no issues with any of them. I would look at reviews of any that you are considering to make sure that particular model doesn't have some manufacturing issue.

Also, chec to make sure it has the amount of usb ports, Thunderbolt, or any other connectors you expect to need.
