Which one should i buy for my gaming pc? the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or the Intel 7400? Which one will get the most fps?

And if i get the 1400 will the Wraith Stealth cooler be enough? I've seen people saying a lot of bad things about that cooler for some reason. Thanks.

B350 is the chipset the motherboard is based on. It's cheaper than the higher-end X370 chipset, and has more features than the cheaper A320 chipset.

For Intel, the chipsets are H110 < B250/H270 < Z270. AMD mostly copied Intel's naming scheme which people are already familiar with.

The 1400 will outperform the 7400 in games like battlefield 1, where more threads are almost necessary, and they will be neck & neck in other games. the 1400 is the best option, and the stealth cooler will suffice.

Also, if you get an aftermarket cooler, you can overclock it to a higher frequency which will provide a big performance boost, provided you get a b350 motherboard.

What is exactly a b350 motherboard? I see a lot of them that say b350 like the Asus Prime B350M-A, im not an overclock guy so i dont really know much about that.
