Having an issue setting up Wake-on-LAN

I'm in the process of trying to set up Wake-on-LAN on my desktop, which is connected to my router via Ethernet, nothing unusual.

I've enabled Wake-on-LAN in my BIOS but I can't switch it on for my network adapter (in device manager).
I'm missing the 'power management' tab as far as I can tell.

Is there any way to make the tab visible or is there another work around I could use?

Thanks in advanced!

Solution
It should not require any setting in a adapter. Wake on Lan is not dependent on the OS. Very technically the OS does not really exist when the machine is not powered on. The WoL packet should simply trigger the machine to follow the same startup/boot procedure it does when you power the machine on.

So since I've set it as 'enabled' within BIOS, I should be able to send magic packets to wake it up already? If so, I'll give it a go when I'm home. Thanks man.
