A 1050 is a 2gb card. So depending on the games you play, you aren't seeing them at their highest quality. If you upgrade to a more powerful 3gb or more card, you will get more fps AND can run the games at higher quality settings.
This assumes your CPU and system ram can handle the higher settings. And that you have a power supply for those cards.

You answered your own question. If you are already playing the game at maximum quality then what more quality do you expect another videocard to provide?
Look at it from another perspective: What are you hoping to gain with an upgrade, that you do not have now?
