I have two builds that I will get and am not sure which one. the only difference is the Motherboard. Thank you

AS you are choosing a locked processor (I would seriously consider a unlocked K one) the second one makes the most sense. also the first motherboard is overkill even for an unlocked chip.

(Sorry in advance, first time building) So the second one would be sufficient and capable of 1080p, 60fps plus, high-ultr settings on most if not all games? Just looking for something to do that for my first build.

yeah,the 1060 will pull that off in all but the roughest games. congrats on your first build plan, it sure beats mine. (I stated with a free dell optiplex 745 I got and souped it up from there)

I did post on your other thread with a ryzen option BUT if you're intent on Intel & you have that kind of budget neither of those builds are good value for money at all!!

I7 7700 + RX 580 8gb for less money than your cheaper option above.

I honestly would not consider a locked i5 at all nowadays , they're showing their limitations & when compared to ryzen are awful value.

I mean most if not all have said that the 2nd build will do the job fine with room to upgrade whenever in the future so I'm sure It'll do the Job. Also many have strayed me away from ryze options and them video cards but I appreciate the different opinions and options. Just a casual first time builder looking for something that will do the bog standard 1080p gaming.

Don't worry, just take your time, and if anything seems to not fit, stop, and check where it should be. that and no fluffy bunny slippers on carpet while building...
