Heatsink Fan compatibility

Hello, I'm currently upgrading from an 4440 to an 4690k. I was wondering can I use the same stock fan that my 4440 uses or do I have to buy a new one. i will not be doing any overclocking till I get an new motherboard. Just curious to if it's ok.

You could use it, or you can use the one that comes with the 4690k.
That being said, you are not upgrading. That is barely a sidegrade.

You would be wasting your money.

Well I bought the CPU by itself from a friend for very cheap & I'm using it to play arma 3 which is very CPU intensive, I know it's not big jump overall but for this game it will help me out. Thanks for the info.
