Help me to choose what cpu I shoul buy for my new pc. First of all I want 1080p 120fps for gaming (using a gtx 1070), another important thing is programming (Is not very high level programming but well I comment everything I will do more regularly), also a bit of video rendering and maybe streaming sometimes.

Here are the prices that I can get (Approximately, I might find some cheaper in the future):
-Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz - 207€
-Intel Core i5-7600 3.5GHz - 229€
-Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz - 249€
-AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHZ - 215€
-AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHZ - 249€

Is it worth the price of 7600k or 1600 for the use I am looking for? Which one would you buy personally?

I'd go with Ryzen, the extra cores will really help with streaming. While Ryzen didn't have as high FPS as Kaby, it was never unplayable or bad. Ryzen is a good performer and there are a bunch of threads on here about 4c/4t CPU's at 100% and causing FPS drops, mostly while streaming.

Can you post some links for that. I'd love to read about it.

Also to the op, I would go for the 1600. I usually have Intel but Ryzen seems to be making 4 core 4 thread chips obsolete. Yeah they don't have the fps of kaby lake but they really aren't that far behind and it will be great for video rendering and streaming.

Thank you. I was hoping for more details about the actual CPUs so I could dream about them. Lol.
