Best case to buy H440 razor edition / phanteks enthoo pro luxe / In win 805 / silverstone primera rgb?

Solution
Start out with a list of exactly what you need. Things like has to have a certain clearance for the cpu air cooler, or had to have good clearance for a 280mm,or has to have no optical or must have at least 1 optical for your fan controller etc. Once you have a list of needs, then make another with wants but can live withouts. Things like built in fan controls, 4x fans, tempered or acrylic window, large or small window, psu cover, more than 24mm for wiring behind the mobo etc.
Once you have both lists, go shopping. Look at every single case on pcpartpicker.com, and notate every case that fits the needs list totally. Then apply the wants list, tossing those cases that don't meet certain criteria, like looks or build quality. You'll...

The H440 isn't a bad case, many like it, but it's not that good with airflow. Average pricing for what you get. Now add the Razor name to it and a little green lighting and you pay considerably more for the same case, not really worth it. The Phanteks pro-m is a very good case, well worth the price, without gimmicks like the Razor name tag. I personally prefer the latest version of the pro-m that comes with the tempered glass side, it's got some tweaks the regular case doesn't have. Definitely the better case, imho.

I actually just ordered a Phanteks enthoo pro m. I think it looks great and all the reviews are positive. I can't wait until it comes. The h440 is nice but I needed a 5.25" bay. I'll post more about it once I build in it.

As someone who doesn't really care about overclocking and airflow and heat, I think the h440 is better looking and might go with it., and I wouldn't want a dull looking case with lots of specs since I already have the coolermaster 693, + most of the full atx versions of the phanteks enthoo pro are out of stock, and I don't think the mid tower looks good, except for its full glass window.

Airflow is the single most important aspect of any case. OC is just a hobby, really doesn't improve the pc ability much, but heat has a huge impact on ability. Cases with good airflow ability stay cooler on the inside, this means you get cooler air surrounding the cpu/gpu heatsinks. This allows for changes when you do push the cpu/gpu hard, even with apps for rendering, cad, production etc. But much must be taken into consideration, as in user taste, some ppl just don't prefer the classic boxy looks of the pro-m, the H440 looks 'better'. Some even think the H440 is still too plain, they want the over-the-top looks of some of the Apevia X-Gamer series. So your opinion is quite understandable. Maybe a good balance might be the nzxt Phantom 410, which has the gamer look, yet has outstanding airflow properties and is also on the same quality of build as the H440/Pro-M.

In the end, it is your choice, you have to look at the case, we don't, but apart from looks it's also good to find a case that fits you, your needs, wants, aesthetics, personality etc. Kinda hard to justify a case that looks great, built great, but only fits a 154mm tower and you've got a 160mm hyper212, or only fits a 240mm aio as intake and you want a 280mm on top.

I've been getting 2nd guesses about the h440, and found many more better cases, for instance the phanteks enthoo luxe tempered glass (out of budget, but can manage) and the in win 805 as well as the silverstone primers rgb http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=736&area=en. Just don't know which to get.

You'll probably end up with about 10-12 cases that fit your everything, so now look for deal breakers, too expensive, too cheap, prefer more room for wiring ease etc. You'll end up with a choice of @2-4 cases that are superior to all you can ask for. The case you want is the one you look at twice, the one you compare the others too.
