i5 6600k vs Ryzen 1500X For Gaming only?

Based on benchmarks 6600k will be better in 8/10 games once overclocked, stock performance is around the same.. If you cant afford i7 go for ryzen 5 1600 just because it has more threads and will perform much better in future games. I believe future games will be more thread hungry and better optimized.
