Hello forums. My current card is a 1070. My microcenter had a 1080ti in stock and I bit the bullet and bought one since I know that my microcenter has a great return policy (they'll always give you full refund if its still working).
Benchmarks: All tests were done at 1440p
DX12:
Ashes of the Singularity:

1080 ti:70 FPS
166.67 percent faster.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Very High:
1070: 68 FPS
1080 Ti:115 FPS
169.12 percent faster
Mankind Divided:
1070:56.4 FPS
1080 ti: 91.9 FPS
162.94 percent faster
DX11:
witcher 3
1070: 60 FPS
1080 ti: 100 FPS
166.67 percent faster
Dragon Age Inquisition:
1070: 88 FPS
1080 ti: 146 FPS
165.91 percent faster
Mass Effect Andromeda:
1070:63 FPS
1080 ti:100 FPS
157.73 percent Faster
Do you think these increases are worth it at 1440p? It's about a 165 percent~ increase give or take depending on the API and game. I can always sell my 1070 to a friend for 360 dollars.
I hear rumors that Volta will be a big leap in graphic card performance because pascal is essentially only Maxwell on drugs with high clock freqs. So idk.
