gigabyte z270-hd3 ram led is on

Hi,

I have install corsair cmv8gx4m1a2133c15 into gigabyte z270-hd3 motherboard. But, the led for dram on the motherboard will be on and the pc won't boot. Beeping sound can be hear. It is short and will keep beeping until 13th times then system will reboot.

CPU: Pentium G4560.
HDD: WD Scorpion Blue 2.5 500GB

Corsair ValueSelect memory part number CMV8GX4M1A2133C15 is compatible, so that is not the issue.

Are you trying to run this memory module with some other modules as well?

If the memory module is by itself, then check the module and its' memory slots for any damage or dirt etc. Clear CMOS. Make sure the module is inserted firmly into the slot.

If still have problems, check that ALL wire/cables that HAVE to be connected are connected properly. Check that the video card is installed properly also. And make sure the CPU is mounted evenly.

If still have problems, remove and check CPU and its socket for missing or damaged pins and pads. There also shouldn't be any dust, dirt, debris nor anything else on or amongst the pins and...

If still have problems, the motherboard or the module may be faulty. Try some other compatible memory module(s), and/or try the ValueSelect module in another computer.
