- samsung 850 evo 500gb 2.5-inch sata iii internal ssd
- western digital 1tb sata 6gb/s 7200 rpm 64mb cache 3.5 inch
- corsair hydro series h115i extreme performance liquid cpu cooler
- nzxt s340 mid tower computer case
- intel 7th gen intel core desktop processor i7-7700k

- EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3, 80 Plus Gold 650W
- Noctua NF-F12 PWM Cooling Fan (quantity: 5)

(WARNING: im n00b)
Do I need thermal paste or heatsink or thermal tape?
Also any advice for my current build (overpay, too much power, etc)?

Solution
1. The cooler comes with its own paste. You don't need any more.
2. The case comes with 2 fans. The cooler comes with 2 fans. Do you really need 5 more? Is there even space for 5 more?

There is space for 5 fans, but I don't know if I should replace the stock fans which is why I'm buying 5 instead of 1. What do you think?

Leave the ones the case and cooler come with.
No use in assuming they will be bad. Wait until it is installed and running.
Live with it for a while.
Then, if you really want...you'll have a much better idea of what to change to if really needed.
