Old PCI card headache for new Mobo

I have old pci 1394a card supporting firewire will this fit in asus new generation atx motherboards with 3x pci express card slots?

Just want to know before order new mobo..probably silly question but came out old pc that had smaller slot for it on mobo

PCI card will not fit in PCIe slot. But there are still some motherboards that have PCI slots. So, what CPU you will use?

Its no major headache USA as I have an old workhorse Dell pc that does work on.....but having a new rig made up and naturally would be much faster exercise

Thanks PaulNZ but there are no new mobos with latest CPU sockets that have firewire 400 on them as dead platform thats why asking if old pci 2 card will fit in new pcie slots
