Hi I'm building a pc for the first time and I'm wondering if this memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3200MHz 2x8GB (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) will work with the Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 mobo. In the support list for memory on the mobo from gigabytes website it says that only this 3200MHz memory from corsair is compatible: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3200MHz 8x8GB (CMK64GX4M8B3200C16) but that can't be correct because of the mobo only having 4 dimm slots, right? So will the 2x8gb kit work?

Solution
If it is not on the qualified list, it may only work at 2133 or 2400 speeds. Memory compatibility at high frequencies is still spotty with Ryzen.

I thought the same, however the mobo only runs this ram up to 2933 with 15-15-15-36 timings at 1.2 volts. Havent been able to run with on XMP or manually inputting the timings, clocks and voltage.
