Ryzen 1600 hit 93C while testing it with Prime95. It was like this for about 10 minutes. Did this cause any harm?

I agree. You are using stock cooler, right? It will not be able to deal with so much voltage, drop it to 1,35V, for temperatures over 65C set the fan to run at max, and then see what overclock you can get. Extra fans in the case would also help to keep temperatures down (Ryzen stays stable better at lower temperatures).
My R5 1600 heats up to ~75C at 3775MHz, 1.36V, PRime95, and I'm not willing to OC more, as voltage requirement, and heat output jumps up right after that.

No- it is just that 1.45V or 93C is too much for constant use. As for the temperatures- CPU has a failsafe built in against dangerous temperatures- it would have simply throttle/shut down upon reaching it's temperature limit.

Thanks for the reply. Put my mind at ease. I don't even remember the stock voltage since my motherboard won't let me reset to defaults without taking out the CMIOS battery. I just set it to 1.35V and am gonna slowly bump it up.

I honestly thought I applied my thermal paste wrong. Initially I didn't put enough on. This time I put on the pea sized amount but I can kind of see it trying to squeeze out the sides( not dropping down or anything). Was worried I had used too much. I just want this thing to last.
