Will the Rx 460 2GB work with my system?

Graphics Card- Gigabyte RX 460 WF2 OC-2Gb 2 GB GDDR5 Memory PCI-E Graphics Card

Hi, I am looking to get a new graphics card to run some newer games like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. However, I want to make sure the card works with my system. Thanks for the replies.

System:

Motherboard- Gigabyte 970A-DS3P, my motherboard has PCI-e 2.0 will this work with the card's 3.0?
PSU- 620 Watts
CPU- AMD FX-6300 6 core
RAM- 8GB

It will work just fine. The performance impact in using a PCIE 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot is minimal if any.

If your budget allows it, consider getting a 4GB gpu, especially if you are playing at 1920x1080

Thanks for the advice, however do you know if the fans alone on the 4gb version would be enough to keep it cool or would I have to buy an extra fan?

If the GPU you purchased includes a fan it will be fine, although if your whole system isn't cooled normally there will be some issues. (as in you have absolutely minimal fans)
