Here are the accessories I'm getting for my computer:
- BenQ ZOWIE 27" QHD 2560X1440 led 144Hz quad HD gaming monitor with S-Switch
- Corsair Gaming K95 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard, cherry mx brown
- SteelSeries QcK gaming mouse pad
- Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC gaming headset
- Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB tunable gaming mouse

This seems like a comfortable setup, except for the fact that all these parts total to $996.74. Are all these accessories worth the premium price, or am I overpaying for some things?

Well, a lot of this falls to your personal judgement, and it's much easier to tell if you list them on an individual basis. Is the monitor $800 and everything else $196? That'd be a steal for the other stuff! Etc.

(Prices listed are CAD)

A 2K monitor with 144 probably will cost around $400-$450.
A solid mech keyboard is $100, RGB is $149
Gaming mousepads are a waste. If you need big ones, you can get those cheap cheap cheap online. If not, just get an ordinary mousepad for 10% of the cost.

Sennheiser: I don't know too much, a solid headset usually goes for $100-$200.
Logitech: Should be just over $100.

I agree that listing the individual prices could be helpful, since they could vary depending on where you're getting them from.

It might also help if you listed your computer specs though. Unless you have a rather high-end system that can push high frame rates at 1440p, you might not really benefit from having a 144Hz 1440p monitor. Also, whether you have an AMD or Nvidia graphics card could help determine if you might benefit more from getting a screen featuring FreeSync or G-Sync (That screen apparently supports neither).

Those do seem to all be fairly high-end parts though. You might not benefit that much from going with a $200 keyboard or a $200 headset compared to others that are available for $100, but that might depend on your specific needs.

A monitor is something that's a necessity. It's not what I would consider an "accessory". Keyboard and mouse are essential. I agree with everyone else that you could scale it back a bit. A mouse pad is not essential. A headset you could do without, or you could get a much less expensive one to start with. I'm a big proponent of mechanical keyboards and I love my Corsair K95, but if that's something you want to scale back on, that's one area where you can cut costs.
