Hey guys,
I'm not an expert, which you might figure out by my question itself.
I have a PC that I got configured back in 2010 I guess. Now I wanted to know if I can upgrade my processor as it has almost become obsolete. I was thinking about upgrading to i7. Please find my detailed specs below and your comments will be highly appreciated.

You motherboard will only support an AMD CPU.

The i7 is a Intel CPU; therefore, you will need to change also your motherboard and maybe your memory if the the new motherboard requires DDR4.

In addition when switching to a new motherboard and CPU, it is highly recommended to do a fresh install of the OS to avoid conflicts.
