So first I started out with a EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply and it lasted about 5 months, then my computer started to randomly shut off so I got a new PSU, which is a Corusior CX650W 80+ bronze and this lasted about a few weeks. The Psu still worked, but it made a VERY loud grinding sound, so I used my warranty to get a new one of the exact same kind. Now this new one worked, but it made a different kind of sound and will only go away if I open my case and slap it. Is it possible that I'm installing the psu wrong that causing this to keep happening?

I doubt that it is the way you are installing it. You've had 3 different failures; that indicates three different issues. Also I have never heard of...

If, however you meant Corsair, Then the CX series are no better than tier 4 and therefore not the best units available.
