CPU damaged? Artifacting [read description]

Hi. yes i know it might be stupid. but i just built a new pc and while installing windows i got weird artifacting and pc froze. i was shocked to see the artifacts as I HAVE NO GPU installed. could anyone help me out? I tohught maybe CPU since i am using the integrated GPU but i have never heard of it.

specs:
i7-4770
MSI z97 Gaming 3
SSD toshiba OEM
Corsair 650 bronze PSU
16gb ddr3 Hyper fury

If POST is successful (lets you get into BIOS) then mobo and CPU should be OK, RAM as other one mentioned could be an issue even if you had it for a month ok in your other pc so you still should test them with memtest86+.

However given that it freezes when reaching BIOS it could be a simple overheating issue, maybe you didn't secure properly the heatsink or didn't apply thermal paste correctly (too much, too little or with gaps in between). Leave the pc cool down for some 20-30min then try to get quickly into the Monitoring/health section of BIOS to check your CPU's temp.

acutally it cant be ram. I tried them in my pc. used for like a month without any problems. i hope it aint cpu
