Hi so awhile ago my stock CPU fan stopped working so I pulled it out and took a look at it and I noticed several wires were loosely connected. So I soldered them back in place. Now the problem is I'm not to confident in my soldering abilities and I don't want to just slap the fan back into my rig and hope for the best. I'm wondering if I should have nothing to worry about even with the potential of crossed wires? And if I should worry then how can I test to make sure the fan works fine without putting it in my rig and possibly frying the motherboard or something equally horrible since the fan plugs directly into the motherboard.? Thank you
