so i want to buy MSI H110i PRO, it has M.2 but only for PCIe mode only.
the question is, IF i use this M.2, will it deactive some PCIe lane ??
for example it will turn off my sata port number 1 or whatever it is..
because in this time i have 3 HDD.
thanks for your answer.

Solution
SATA ports don't directly take up PCIe lanes, they take up HSIO lanes. There are more HSIO lanes than PCIe lanes available.

Anyway, occupying the M.2 slot shouldn't affect anything else on that board. The H110 chipset offers 14 HSIO lanes and 6 PCIe 2.0 lanes. Using 4 PCIe 2.0 lanes for the M.2 slot also uses 4 HSIO lanes, leaving 10 for SATA ports and USB3.0 (AKA USB3.1 Gen1).

(the slot for the main graphics card is separate from all this since it's fed directly by the CPU)
