Okay, I am completely new to pc gaming, so I basically have no idea what I am doing...
I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card (currently a gtx 730) because I am getting low fps in most games even when all my settings are on low. I want to get the best graphics card I can get that my pc can handle. Here are my specs:

Processor: AMD FX 4300 quad-core 3.80 GHz
Power Supply: 500W
8GB RAM
64 bit operating system

I don't even know if that's all the specs that you need to see.... just let me know if I missed something and thanks in advance for the help, I am utterly confused....

Solution
if you want something cost efficent buy gtx 750 ti 2gb OC and you can play high end games on medium/high/ultra settings. For example you can play overwatch om ultra at 40-60 fps. if you want to spend some money for some more fps go to one of the gtx950 series and up to gtx gtx980. if you want to join pc master race for +60fps, buy a gtx 1080 ti. also you have to ensure if your motherboard pci slot supports it, psu can handle it and if theres space for your gpu
