Just wondering if upgrading from the Sapphire radeon 7850 2gb oc to a 1050ti 4gb sc is worth it. I'd imagine it would be a pretty nice jump, considering I've been running the 7850 for 5 years now. Getting tired of low settings with 50 fps :p

Paired with the legendary phenom ii x4 965 black edition oc'd to 4.1ghz.

well if I answer based on some benchmarks I would not upgrade from your current 7850 to a 1050ti, I would go to a 1060 3gb instead because the jump between 7870 and 1050 is not worth 130$ in my humble opinion, upgrading to the 1050 ti is like getting a GTX 970 4GB SSC. not worth it price wise. Especially if your going to upgrade the rest opf your rig later... I say skip 30% increase for 130$, and get 97% increase in GPU for 225$ (1060 3GB) its a wizer price / performance ratio that make sense to me.

I plan to upgrade the entire pc slowly, starting with the gpu. Mobo/ram/cpu next. Going with Intel.

Games are rainbow six: siege and battlegrounds as of right now. I've been gaming on med/low settings lately, so it's not an issue if the cpu bottlenecks some. As long as they are playable on medium - ish settings.

Any ideas of what I can expect with the gpu upgrade? Right now on siege with all low settings and medium shadows, I get 60 fps with vsync, dipping to 45-50 when there's alot going on.
