Okay so I've read alot of posts about this and have tried the different fixes but they don't seem to help. I have an internet connection of 4MBps and this internet used to give me a ping of 40-60 in the game Counter Strike Global Offensive. This was happening till about 3-4 days ago after which my ping raised to 300 on the server i used to play on(Dubai). Now the least ping i get is 188 which isn't even on the Dubai server. NOTE:This problem isn't happening on my other laptop.
On my other laptop I'm getting the same ping i used to. Speed tests were showing that i was getting more Mbps than i was paying for but it did not help with the ping or the browsing speed. The browsing speed varies from time to time and i do not know whats the issue. I do not face any problem on my other laptop but i dont have it all the time so i cannot play on that when I'm free. I've tried resetting my internet properties, Restarting the router alot of times, restarting my laptop, scanning for viruses, checking for driver updates, but nothing has yet helped me. I've been using this laptop for like atleast 2 years and this has never been a problem and it suddenly is. When this problem started and my Isp started providing me with more MBps than i was paying for(which they never do) I thought that it would be their problem. The internet speed went down to 1MBps aswell for a day and i was pretty sure it was that problem but now i get a constant 3.5-5 MBps and the pings still high.
NOTE:Speedtest.net shows me a ping of 25ms.
