Currently I have 8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram in my pc and it works fine, but after installing a 4gb stick the pc starts restarting. I have tried to clean the slot, but without any succes. I noticed my mobo (gigabyte z97x-sli) has got a beta bios update which says it fix some memory compatibility update, but Im bit scared to flash a beta bios. The current ram is cl10 and the new one is cl9
