Some GPUs are old enough to be Directx 10 or less cards, this means you won't be able to play games that are Directx 11 or 12 using those cards. Some games require cards with a minimum amount of vram(memory), be aware of that. Some games really work better on quad core CPUs and you have a dual core. Some games work better if you have more than 4gb of system ram. Some models of videocards were not meant for gaming. Some older cards no longer get driver support. These are all things you should consider before spending money.
My suggestion is an AMD HD 7570 DDR5. It's very inexpensive, uses low power, and is Directx 11 capable. It should be able to handle games appropriate for your CPU. A 9800 GT would be great, if you can accept it only being Directx 10 capable, and it uses much more power so you'd need to have the power supply for it.
Cards like the GT 710/GT 430 are not gaming cards, don't bother with them.
