So I watched a YouTube video and this guy had a cable modem and then he had an Ethernet cable running from his modem to his router then from his router he had an Ethernet cable going into his netduma router then he had an Ethernet cable going to his Xbox one what would running two routers do would it fix lag compensation? Would it help with bullet reg or would running DNS codes just be better ?

It likely would do nothing. Most times people do this to extend their wireless coverage by using the second router as AP. The ethernet ports act as dumb switches in that configuration. I suppose he could have vpn software on the second router but that in general would reduce the performance and is used to get past some form of network restriction.
