Can i run MSI rx 480 on this motherboard? It has pcie 3.0 x16 slot.

If my motherboard cannot run that card then which rx 480 can it run? Or my motherboard is too old and i need to upgrade it to the newer one with pcie 2.0 x16?

I bought gigabyte rx 460 and it wasnot compatible with my motherboard and i had to sell that one.

Now im looking to buy rx 480 please help!

It should be compatible with the board you have but reading some other threads some other people have issues with other model gigabyte mother boards. And even if you buy another rx 480 it will possibly act the same as the first one. What i can only say is check gigabyte website and see if you board has a bios update that mentions about graphics card fixes or just get another brand mother board that has newer stuff and see.
