Computer randomly restarting when in use?

I've just ordered some new parts for my PC, my current rig is:

GPU: GeForce GTX 970
CPU: Intel i5 7600K
MOBO: z270 SLI PLUS
RAM: G.SKILL 16GB (4x4GB)
Including a 1TB HDD, 525 M.2 SDD, and a corsair 600W PSU that is about 4-5 years old.

The problem happens when I'm playing a game, namely Warhammer Total War. The screen turns black and the PC reboots. No BSOD or error messages.

I've considered overheating, and run some stress tests, CPU is 40*C idle and 65*C average under load, the highest it reached was 71*C. The GPU reaches about 61*C.

I'm inclined to believe it's the power supply. This used to happen on my old system, and it was the same PSU that I'm using now. However it doesn't happen on a lot of other games? It DID crash during the stress test when I tried to open MSI Kombustor to monitor the GPU temperature on another program.

Is there anything I can do? I don't want to buy a new PCU to find out it's not the problem.

I've also updated my drivers (not the bios).

Help! :( and thank you.

I know it's late, but what Zerk said above fixed my problem.

A faulty power supply can cause a whole variety of issues, and really should not be overlooked when building a new PC.

Thanks again, take care.
