my old monitor is just a plain generic brand, and since I'm upgrading my pc, I figured I'd upgrade everything else. That being said, I don't know much about monitors, other than anything above 60hz is very noticeable. But I don't know what to look for in one, nor what brands are favored. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

ideally you need a monitor with gsync from nvidia, those are expensive, 24" should get you playing well
