Hello i have already purchased my Crosshair 6 Am4 mobo with 16GB (2X8) of Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3000MHz (CMU16GX4M2C3000C15R) and R5 1600X.
Question is will these ram sticks work with this mobo, i have checked QVL and these are not listed
however my understanding is the list is just for oc-ing ram or am i mistaken? my head is spinning from all this.
I am aware that i may not get the 3000Mhz speed with current platform problems i am not too fussed about this ATM, will the RAM automatically down clock has anyone got the same stick and mobo and tried? most importantly are these sticks compatible?
