I started off the build simply with putting the motherboard in the case and putting in the CPU, cooler, RAM, GPU, hard drive, DVD player, everything connected. I flip the switch on the power supply and I press the power button and nothing happens. I switch around the case power cords because they were in incorrectly because my motherboard came with the wrong manual (thanks Amazon). After a few attempts I got it right and everything turned on and the fans started spinning up, but no post. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get the damned thing to post. Might I have short circuited the motherboard by putting in the case power cords in the wrong pins a few times? I know the CPU and RAM are both functional for sure because I used them in a previous build, but what might be the problem? I get no error beeps unless I take the RAM out completely so I know the speaker does work.
