Hello everyone!

As you may know from my previous post regarding my Panasonic Toughbook CF-45, I recently got my hard drive for it. It is a 40GB PATA drive.

My question today regards actually installing a copy of Windows 98SE on the computer. I need to install the OS from a flash drive. I know, again, not the best idea, but I need to get this done. I have a bootable ISO file on my laptop, i just need to make the USB bootable so that I can install.

To summarize:
I need to install Windows98SE from a USB drive, onto my hard drive.

Thank you for your help.

for windows 98se i never could do it via usb, too much problem, form the usb stick, the bios of the mainboard or windows itself

if you already have the iso, burn it to a cd and use a external dvd drive if you don't have a cd rom drive on that 98 machine

Using a CD/DVD would be better and easier. But if it has to be via a usb, try poweriso to burn the image to usb. I've made it work on Win7 onwards and half a dozen linux distros, but i'm not sure how well it works with an old OS like 98 or ME
