I just upgraded to a 1060 3gb and i'm getting worse fps drops then before. Before I just played rust on intel hd 4400 graphics on the lowest and I got fps drops here and there but not as bad as now.
Now that I upgraded I go from like 100fps to 1 everytime i try to move or look around.

Pc specs-
i3-4170
8gb ram
gtx 1060 3gb
Asrock h97 motherboard

Check your RAM, because frame drops and stutters can be associated with RAM. Make sure all your RAM is being used and not hardware reserved. Check the Task Manager(Windows+X->Task Manager). Get back to me ASAP!

Sometimes gamers forget to install the drivers that came along with it, not to mention to update it as well since it could have been months or even years since the last firmware/driver change. Sometimes it's not just plug n play, good luck!
