When I start my new computer my monitor says that there is no signal

When I turn on my newly built gaming computer all the fans turn on and everything is on, but nothing shows up on the screen it says that there isn't any signal. I've already tested the monitor using my laptop and it works fine. Also if this is important the lights on my mouse doesn't turn on. This is also my first build. Please Help. Thanks!

I ended up taking the motherboard out of the computer and reinstalling it, I don't know what did it but it ended up working fine. I suspect that it was some of the connections to the motherboard.

I do have a dedicated GPU, I'll try removing it. Thanks.
