Can I remove the "Recovery disk" and insert an ssd?
I have a 1:20 boot time whenever I open the laptop, it is an old HP Envy 15t with these specs: Processor: i7-2860 @ 2.5-3.6 Ghz quad core, AMD Radeon 6600M series and 6700M series (Graphics), and 16gb ram.
Pretty nice laptop (besides the graphics card). It says not to remove it, but can I replace it with an SSD and move over windows? Just want to make sure so I don't do anything wrong and it not work.
I got this laptop for $275 on ebay, and it came with windows 7, then I upgraded to windows 10 Home.
