I have 2 portable hard drives and i have all MP4 movies on them. Everything was going good until last night, when i connect the portable drive to the pc to add another MP4 movie to it and when i went to grab the drive up from the table, I kinda squeezed on it a little and then when i connect it to the media player, it wouldn't show up..I tried my other portable drive when my private MP4 movies on it and even tried a flash drive and they all work just line, they show up in the usb media player just good but my Seagate drive just want.. could it be when squeezing he drive when picking it up could damage it.
