Overclocking the FX 8100? On a 4+1 Power Phase? Safe?

As stated, I have an FX 8100. I have had a pleb motherboard for the longest, and wanted to overclock for ages. I finally scraped up enough for a proper motherboard, the Gigabyte 970A-D3P rev 2. My problem is, I didn't realize this sucker was a 4+1 power phase, and that apparently overclocking is DANGEROUS at that level. I was wondering, with my pleb CPU that is 2.8 GHz (15.5x multiplier with 95W TDP running at 1.24 Max V on the CPU VCORE) that turbos to 3.1 GHz and always is below 50C on max load would be safe to overclock to 3.5GHz with turbo disabled. Since this board can handle FX 8350's 125W TDP and 1.375) And if so, what voltage is recommended to stay below, what voltage should I try to do 3.5 on, and any other info would be great!

Make sure there is airflow of the VRM's as they are going to get very hot. When I overclocked with budget boards I would put a fan over them.

Max Voltage is roughly 1.5 for FX CPU's. I wouldn't go much higher than 1.4 with an extreme load line.

3.5Ghz isn't an overclock really as the chip Turbo's to 3.7. Push it to 4.2-4.5.

Airflow should be good, I'll have two intakes and a AIO cooler so there isn't anything obtruding the VRAM. Also, is there a way to tell if it gets too hot? And double also, it's turbo is 3.1 so 4.2 would be insane.
