That's pretty damn good value tbh if you don't want to build yourself.
PSU will be generic, and an i7 7700 would obviously be optimal, but it's a decent buy.

500W PSU is rated at 480W combined for 12V, so it should be fine. But GTX1070 is too weak for 144Hz 1440p for most games- only e-sports will run that high, and most games- 60+ fps at ultra, and more fps at lower quality settings.

For a pre-built that isn't bad. i5 with a GTX 1070. They have to make money some how. If you built it yourself it would be $750~

Games like Ghost Recon runs at 60fps max settings on my 1070. Really it depends what you play. CS:GO gets over 200, same with Bioshock or Metro 300+ fps @1440P
