Im sorry for the question but Im new to the computer world, but I am very intersted in upgrading my laptop ram but Im not sure if the ram that I want to actually get is the correct one.
I appreciate any help, thanks.

Hello... your CPU has the memory controller on it and specs at DDR3 (1.5v) 800/1066 dual channel 8GB's max... http://ark.intel.com/products/50178/Intel-Core-i3-380M-Processor-3M-Cache-2_53-GHz

so I suggest staying with that spec B / ...The "L" version means they run at a lower voltage too (1.35) so I would also look for the non-L types (1.5v) to avoid having to return them... Going with two 4GB's modules for a total of 8GB's should work fine B )
