More particularly, will the ROG STRIX Z270G GAMING allow me to use a intel 600 series (1tb) M.2. SSD as a boot drive?

Solution
looking at specifications;

Asus Z270G : https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270G-GAMING/specifications/
it states
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)

Specifications on the Intel 600P SSD 1TB : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167413
it states

M.2 2280 , PCI-Express 3.0 x4

so yes it is compatible.

Thank you very much, I checked the list, SSDSCKKW010X6X1 is 540 series not 600 series. Refer to the list only support 600p 256gb & 513gb. Am I right?
