power consumption in smps

I am using dell Vostro 3268 desktop with SMPS wattage of 180w I want to use zotac 1050ti but it recommends 300w supply with no external power connected from SMPS since it draws from pci-e slot itself will there be any problem in using that?
Addition to that changing to 300w SMPS is a problem because my motherboard has 6 pin power input instead of 24 pin power input is there any SMPS available in that form?
