i have a cooler master 700w psu with 2x6pin, but the Gigabyte GTX970 g1 Gaming needs a 6pin + 8 pin, can i use the 6pin to 8pin cable ? would it be safe

help please

What model Cooler Master , if it only has 2 - 6 pins it's quality is very poor.
