Good day! I am having a hard time picking between the 2 GPUs above. I'm planning to build a PC for both AutoCad and gaming.

Upcoming Build
Ryzen 5 1600
B350 Tomahawk
8gb of HyperX fury/ Ripjaws G.Skills(Will upgrade to 16gb in the future)
1tb WD HDD
520W Seasonic
S340 matte black/white

The 2 GPUs on the title are the only GPUs I can afford

Those are mainstream GPUs meant for games, videos, etc.
Workstation related GPUs are quite different from those you listed. That's what the comment above meant, that's why he suggested a new one.

One kind is best for one kind of work while the other, for the other kind. So it's up to you which aspect of your school will be more important.

Nonetheless, IMO unless you're really going to use AutoCAD to it's full potential, no real need to get a proper workstation...

What do you mean? I'm sorry I'm new in this PC build thing. I'm actually going to study 3D designing with AutoCAD so when it's already needed in our school, I'll have a head start. I've heard that the Ryzen 5 1600 has 6 cores with 12 threads that is great for workloads

If this is your main pc and you also want to use it for anything else than AutoCad, I recommend going for a consumer grade Gpu like the rx580 or the gtx 1060... Special Gpus for AutoCad aren't supported by most programs and can't do anything at all exept 3d design, so they are quite useless. A normal Gpu will work just fine, especially in this price range. A normal gpu will propably use more power, but that's it. And the more consumer friendly installation of gpu related software and better support that comes with a normal Gpu will be a lot nicer.
