I am trying to overclock my i7 920, i have managed to overclock it to 3.0 wich is not that big of a difference. When i try to overclock any higher my system fails to boot and i only get a black screen. here are my pc specs:

gpu gtx 960 4 gb oc base clock +175 memory clock +450
psu Cooler master 520W
10 gb ddr3 ram
motherboard DFI LP JR x58
cooler hyper 212 evo
