Hello guys, I have a NVIDIA 1070 MSI, but with an AMD CPU that I want to change...
I have a F2A78M-DS2 motherboard and not all good CPUs are compatible with it (It's only AMD compatible, and I'm scared of the bottleneck...). I was asking you guys if you could give me some info about some CPU's compatible with my motherboard for around 170 Euros...
waiting for your answer.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english

With that budget you can get this combo(Intel Core i5-6500 Skylake Quad-Core 3.2 GHz, MSI H110M Gaming LGA 1151 and Team Elite Plus 8GB 288-Pin DDR4)
https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.3272006

Or for a bit more you can go for something more custom, with the newer Kaby Lake Intel Core i5-7400 Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 1151 and a nicer board ASRock Fatal1ty B250M Performance and same Ram Team Elite Plus 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM)

I don't want to keep using AMD, but I don't have enough money to buy new motherboard, new RAM and new processor...

Well you don't have a lot of options and if you are not getting rid of your motherboard this is the best FM2+ CPU that you can get, but I think it will bottleneck your GTX 1070. I don't recommend using any fm2+ set up for a middle to high end gaming card but it will be an upgrade if you are using an older and slower CPU

this is the best fm2+ CPU that you can get: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113402&cm_re=FM2%2b-_-19-113-402-_-Product.

And the review of that CPU paired with a GTX 1060 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-BwWHtg3Jw.

How much is your budget exactly? A new Pentium G4560, B250 Motherboard and 8GB DRR4 will give you a solid upgrade, with future upgrade paths for under $200. No point investing in another FM2+ CPU or AM3+ for that matter... both sockets have outdated CPUs that will be the bottleneck in your system even with the best for said sockets.

Edit: @LucoTF beat me to it... :p

Thanks for being active!
I want to put Intel processor, so I need a compatible motherboard and RAM. I don't like the new Pentium.... Now, with those specs, Arma 3 runs on 20 fps... can you hel me out finding good components with the budget of 270-280 euros?

I'll go for the the combo since it saves you money and the i5 6500 has higher clock speeds than the i5 7400. Let me know if you have more questions.:ange:
