Hi!
I have an older Esprimo P900 desktop with HDD and DVD connected to the 2 grey SATA ports. I would like to connect an extra SSD from a recently passed away laptop to the free 4 yellow SATA ports, but !nothing! seems to get recognized on these ports in the BIOS. SATA mode is set to AHCI. I tried the SSD on the grey ports, all fine, different cables on grey ports are also working.

BIOS is updated to the latest available version. The grey ports are possibly SATA 3, the grey ones SATA 2. How can i get all 3 drives to work at the same time?

D3062-B μATX Mainboard
2 Serial ATA III 600 Interface (up to 6GBit/s),
4 Serial ATA II 300 Interfaces (up to 3GBit/s), NCQ, AHCI, RAID 0/1/5/10

You would probably need to go into disk management section of Windows to activate the drive and give it a drive letter.

Thanks for your replies!
Problem is - the ports are not recognized on BIOS level. Even if i just connect the existing system-HDD to one of the yellow ports, and unplug all other SATA ports, nothing is recognized, an the PC won't boot.

I found out that something seems to happen anyway - the connected yellow ports offer "hot plug" options when changing SATA mode to RAID. Not booting though, and the ports are still labeled as empty.

Regarding the link in Calvin7s reply - I instaled the drives accordingly. I managed fine with SCSII and IDE - SATA should be simpler, but it doesn't work here....
